LANDSCAPES, CURIOSITIES, STORIES,
FOR READERS AND READING GROUPS
Welcome to this scrap book (scrap web?) on The Ghosts of Eden.
When we read fiction we want to immerse ourselves in the story; we don’t want to find ourselves studying a travel guide, educating ourselves on the finer points of colonial education policy, or to end up heavy eyed over the manuscript of an anthropology doctorate. The author’s dusty research should only be shown to the extent to which it’s important to the plot. However sometimes our curiosity has been tickled and we want to know a little more about the background to a novel. I hope this website goes some way to satisfying that itch.
Do leave comments or ask questions on the Talk page and I will do my best to respond.
